In the spirit of giving for the Christmas season, Crestar School of Dance had its charity effort ‘A heART of Giving’. In support of the Singapore Children’s Society, Crestar’s Art students created their very own art pieces which were sold online. A total of $3,580 was raised, surpassing its target of $3,000.

The charity effort was held in conjunction to Crestar School of Dance’s year-end virtual Christmas concert ‘Christmas At Home’ on 26 December 2021.

Artworks created surrounded the theme of giving, hope, love, joy and peace. The fund-raiser was in line with Crestar’s on-going effort to champion an inclusive community, where the appreciation of the Arts can be brought closer to the vulnerable amongst us.

Virtual concert ‘Christmas at Home’ featured 16 spectacular performances by some 200 students with the support and guidance of their teachers. The programme was designed to showcase our young talents’ achievements in Ballet, Hip Hop, Rhythmic Gymnastics and Belly Dance.

Singapore Children’s Society operates more than 10 service centres island-wide serving some 35,000 children, youth and families in need.
