Descriptions

Crestar School of Dance is one of the largest private dance school in Singapore. We offer both full time and part time positions to qualified teacher who aspires to impart skills and knowledge in grooming the next generation of dancers, performers and teaching professionals. Potential career advancement to Principal level for outstanding faculty members.

Pre-requisites :

  • Teaching certificate in RAD/CSTD and/or Degree in Dance Education and its equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of coaching experience
  • Able to communicate effectively and establish good rapport with students and parents
  • Able to choreograph dance items and prepare students for concerts
  • Able to coach effectively to prepare students for RAD/CSTD examinations
  • Able to demonstrate professionalism, responsibility and strong work ethics
  • Candidates with professional dance background or capability to  teach a wide range of levels (from 3 years old to advanced) will be  given priority in consideration.
  • At least a Diploma in English/ Drama or equivalent;

Requirements

  • Diploma / GCE ‘A’ / ‘O’ Level
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service / sales
  • Able to converse well in English & Mandarin
  • Pleasant personality & disposition Pro-active and well-organized individual
  • PC literate with proficiency in MS Office
  • 5 day rotating work week, including weekends
  • Able to work weekday evenings and weekends

  • Experience in conducting group classes for children.
  • Possess Degree / Diploma.
  • Good knowledge of ministry and school requirements, school curriculum, syllabus and exam format.
  • Have strong academic development, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate and committed in teaching and guiding students to excel.
  • Ability to plan and oversee program development, teaching strategies, syllabus, and other long-range planning.
  • Ability to contribute to teaching and assessment of the teachers and courses.

Pre-requisites:

  • Assist in the development and update of the Before and After School Care manuals.
  • Feedback and Research & Development on course/training curriculum gathered from training assignments.
  • Provide professional support and training.
  • Observe, recommend and endorse advancement of classes and develop CQC (Care Quality Commission) benchmarks for student learning together with Head / Coordinator and teachers.
  • To jointly work with school head to source and implement programs and organise projects and activities e.g. holiday workshops.
  • Monitor dropout, waiting lists, intakes, studio facilities and keep abreast of industry’s development
  • Attend all meetings and seminars as and when requested.
  • Guide operation personnel relations to Before After School Care curriculum related issues.
  • Conduct DAs where relevant.
  • Give advice and consultation to parents and students on BASP issues.
  • Feedback and Research & Development on course / training curriculum gathered from training assignments.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Education or equivalent.
  • Full-Time & Part-Time position(s) available.
