This exhibition aim to showcase the journey of children who has been enjoying and expressing themselves through art in Crestar. Art Is not producing beautiful and elaborated work, it is about helping one to express one’s thoughts and views. The distortion of lines, perspective and proportion in a child’s drawing might be an imperfection to some but it has a beauty of its own in the child’s mind; that is the way they project to the world what they wish to express and their perception of the subject within them.
Through this exhibition, we hope to bring awareness to the public on how art can nurture, enhance, and enable children to explore their roots. This journey of self-discovery and self-expression will thus allow one’s imagination to be reflected on the canvas.
