Crestar Learning Centre Reunites with Yamaha Music (Asia) Through Yamaha Primary Course Partnership

Crestar Education Group’s (CEG) enrichment division, Crestar Learning Centre (CLC), has signed a licence agreement with Yamaha Music (Asia) to offer the Yamaha Primary Course at Crestar Learning Hub, Marine Parade, marking the return of CLC as an official Yamaha Music School Licensee.
The agreement was signed on 10 July 2026 at Yamaha Plaza Singapura by Ms. Kwan Peck Leng, Group Managing Director of Crestar Education Group, and Mr. Yoshinori Sasaki, Managing Director of Yamaha Music (Asia). Witnessing the signing were Mr. Robert Leong Yuen Li, Group Chief Operating Officer of Crestar Education Group, and Mr. Stephen Chia, Division Leader of the Yamaha Music School Division.

A Partnership Built on Shared Heritage
More than just a business collaboration, this partnership represents a homecoming between two organisations with a shared history spanning six decades.
The roots of the relationship dated back to 1966, when Yamaha Music (Asia) first established its presence in Singapore. At the time, a range of educational programmes—including music, preschool education, ballet, dance and art—were operated under Yamaha Music (Asia).
Following Yamaha Music (Asia)’s transition to a wholly owned subsidiary of Yamaha Corporation in 2002, these education businesses were subsequently separated to form what is known today as Crestar Education Group.
Today, both organisations are once again joining hands with a shared commitment to nurturing young learners through quality Under the agreement, Crestar Learning Centre will offer the Yamaha Primary Course, a globally established music programme designed to develop children’s musical abilities through listening, singing, playing, and reading from 3 to 5.5 years old.
Bringing the Yamaha Primary Course to Crestar Learning Hub, Marine Parade
Yamaha’s Primary Course will be offered at Crestar Learning Hub, located in Marine Parade.
The programme will be supported by Yamaha Music (Asia)’s curriculum, teaching methodology, teacher training and operational framework, ensuring that students receive a high-quality and authentic Yamaha learning experience.

The renewed partnership also opens up opportunities for both organisations to explore ways of bringing music education to more families within Crestar’s network.
